Giants outfielder Alex Dickerson was the first of (we hope) many players to hit a home run in a big-league ballpark and hear absolutely nothing from any fans as he ran around the bases!
What an odd sight, not to mention sound, to hear a player crack the bat and send the ball flying over the outfield wall, to only hear the cheers of fellow players and coaches and a few fans gathered outside Oracle Park in San Francisco!
