There Are Face Masks Hanging In Trees In San Anselmo

A Marin County town is making it really easy for you to find a mask if you don’t happen to have one with you.

In the town of San Anselmo you’ll find clean face masks in plastic bags hanging in trees. The idea is the brainchild of Age-Friendly San Anselmo, according to Adrian Rodriguez of the Marin Independent Journal. The message is simple. “Don’t walk around town without a mask.” That’s the message from Sara Robinson, chair of Age Friendly. San Anselmo Mayor Ford Greene thinks that it’s a great way for people to have easy access to masks.

You’ll find tee-hanging masks at Creek Park, and along San Anselmo Avenue. About 200 masks were donated by Whistlestop, whose mission is to help out older adults, and people with disabilities.

Age-Friendly San Anselmo has set up a GoFundMe page to raise cash for more masks. You can donate here.
