There is no doubt that here in the Bay Area there is a lot of difficult terrain which is making life a lot harder for the firefighters that continue to try and battle the many fires that are still burning.
You may have seen friends or family members in the Bay Area posting pictures of aircraft that are being called in to help assist the ground crews fighting the fires. Maybe you've even posted some pictures yourself. These days, and thanks to the difficult terrain all over the Bay, aircraft has become an essential asset when it comes to battling the massive fires we've had in the past few years.
In just the past few days, firefighters have started to turn a corner on the SCU Complex Fire. To give you some perspective, watch CAL FIRE firefighter, Devin Kilbred talk about just how much fire they've used to try an get a hold on this fire.
