"The Conners" which stars and is produced by Sara Gilbert has announced they are the very first sitcom to go back into production since the pandemic began.
The set will look a bit different behind the scenes. There are masks and shields and gloves and signs encouraging social distancing. When the cast isn't shooting, their masks are on. As a matter of fact, when they do table reads their masks are even on.
What you see on camera too will be a bit different. Sara says that their shows will incorporate masks into their story lines but they don't want to overdo it as they realize there is a bit of a burnout factor too.
