Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is ON, but it’ll be much different this year.
For starters the number of participants will be reduced by 75%, will be socially distanced, and be required to wear masks. Instead of marching in the Upper West Side, the parade will be limited to Harold Square. One of the main attractions of the parade was always the Wednesday night balloon inflation event. That won’t be open to the public this year. The balloons won’t be held by humans, but by machines this year. But there IS good news..the parade WILL be on TV, preserving some of the holiday magic.
