California Officially Recognizes May 4th as Star Wars Day

California Officially Recognize May 4 As 'Star Wars' Day

The move commemorates the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge amusement park opening at Disneyland in Anaheim later this month.

Another “Star Wars” park will also open at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida in August.

“Star Wars” fans have long acknowledged May 4 as “Star Wars Day” unofficially due to the date sounding similar to the movie’s classic phrase “May the Force be with you.”
