Right after Ohio's governor ordered all restaurants to close statewide to curb the spread of the Coronavirus, a customer managed to sneak in one more meal at Coach's Bar and Grill in Columbus and showed gratitude by leaving a $2,500 tip!
The customer wrote on the receipt "be split between four employees" who were named but they decided to share the huge tip between all 13 employees. The bar posted about the generosity on Twitter, adding "When the going gets tough, the tough get loyal."
The bar owner actually knows who left the tip but they wish to remain anonymous. The kind customer just wanted to help out the employees as their hours were cut due to the shutdown.
