Gregg Garfield and a dozen of his friends contracted covid-19 while on a ski trip in Italy in February. He spent 64 days in the hospital in Southern CA hooked up to a ventilator. He had a 1% chance of survival. Although he beat the odds symptoms and complications of coronavirus infection lead to getting many of his fingers amputated.
He is happy to be alive and says he is ready to go skiing gain next year.
