Salinas CA is a community is home to a large community of Migrant workers. As essential worker these people work in the fields 6 days a week in the Rain, Colds or Blistering Heat. Made up of mostly Mexican families, the parents insist their kids go to school and get good education so they will have a better chance at life.
With that said earlier this week 2 little girls were seen outside a Taco Bell in East Salinas sitting on the ground. When approached by employees they discovered they were their trying to get Wifi for their remote learning. Their schools provided them with Laptops but their family can’t afford internet connection.
