It was reported Sunday that Alexa told a girl to touch a penny to a partially plugged-in phone charger.
The "penny challenge" was popularized in 2020 and can cause electric shocks, fires, and other harm.
Amazon says it has fixed the issue and is taking steps to ensure it doesn't happen again.
