We received a ton of rain the Bay Area on Monday and you would think that would lead to much needed snow in the Sierra's but meteorologists say the weather is too warm so anything under 8000 feet will likely be rain instead of snow.
Yes, it rained a lot on Monday but the temperature in Tahoe was 42 degrees which prevented that rain from turning to snow.
The good news is that next week we are expecting another storm with colder temperatures so snow is much more likely then!
