Almost 50% of all American dog owners say they prefer hanging out with their pups over social events with friends.
A study was done on almost 2,000 dog owners in America and found that nearly half of owners skipped out on social events with friends to specifically get a bit more quality time with their furry friend.
82% of all dog owners noticed an improvement in their life thanks to their furry friend. Another 20 percent said their dog helped them get through a tough breakup. Four in ten say their pet got them through the loss of a loved one.
