There was a small fire under the Bay Bridge yesterday that you may have either heard about or, heaven forbid, suffered the wrath of traffic-wise on your way out of San Francisco, headed to the East Bay.
A piece of debris was found smoldering under the bridge deck around 2:20 p.m. Scaffolding and netting to keep birds away were said to be on fire.
No injuries from the fire were reported.
