If you ride BART every day, as antiquated as we think the system may or may not be, think about what it was like back in 1967 when stations were under development and the plans were just ink on a paper!
Dan Brekke uncovered these plans for the North Berkeley BART station from 1967 recently and was nice enough to share them with us! We think the thing that stands out the most is that the original plans called for ZERO parking at the station! Can you imagine???
