There's a reason they call breakfast the most important meal of the day. Skipping it can be bad for your health and actually cause weight gain.
Researchers from Tel Aviv University and Hebrew University in Israel found that eating breakfast helps regulate glucose and insulin responses. Skipping makes your metabolism dip, causing the body to crave foods later in the day.
They say the best time to eat breakfast is within two hours of waking up.
