As we know, the Bay Area is an expensive place to live, and play and eat and drink......
We've all heard about things like a $15 cup of coffee or $12 for toast or $14 for the best bacon in town (usually in San Francisco) but over the weekend, people were going nuts over the newest overpriced offering.....$8 for a lemonade.
But, before you dismiss this, apparently this lemonade is REALLY good, the best in town they say. It's sold at a stand in the Mission District in San Francisco. The stand, Gourmonade, is located on Valencia Street specifically and people are going nuts (and paying for) this lemonade!
The owner says he spends hours every day hand squeezing lemons so we can enjoy his (expensive) lemonade.
