So many powerful moments have come out of the rescue efforts in Paradise due to the Camp Fire but this latest really brought a smile to our faces.
San Jose firefighters were caught on camera at the base of a flagpole in the fire-ravaged community of Magalia, just north of Paradise. This crew has been working with a FEMA team, searching for human remains. The firefighters came across a U.S. flag at a residence that was quite damaged. They got it down, folded it, and placed it in the mailbox near where the home on this property used to stand.
Just amazing. Thank you to all of the first responders for their efforts. We truly appreciate you.
