The Oscars are going to do something this year that they haven’t done in 30 years…the show will NOT have a host this year!
Kevin Hart was supposed to host but because of all of the controversy that is surrounding him now because of some homophobic remarks he made 10 years ago, he has pulled out of the gig.
The last time the Oscars went without a host was in 1989. The 1989 ceremony still featured performances and comedic bits, including a routine from legendary comedian Billy Crystal.
The Oscars will air Feb. 24 on ABC.
