A man in Houston says he is moving out of his nursing home and into a Holiday Inn because the Holiday Inn is financially a better deal!
He said the average cost of a nursing home (in Houston) is $188.00 per day and at his local Holiday Inn, when he combined the long term stay discount and senior discount, it's $59.23 per night.
He also pointed out that at the Holiday Inn breakfast is included, as well as a spa, a swimming pool, a workout room, a lounge, and washer-dryer.
He also pointed out that the maid will come into the room and if he’s not okay, he’s got someone to call an ambulance for him.
