Clarkson made an appearance in Long Island, New York, earlier this week as part of her "A Minute and a Glass of Wine" segment during her "Meaning of Life Tour" stops, and wowed the crowd with a surprisingly hip-hip, soul-infused performance unlike anything she's ever delivered before.
"I couldn't go everywhere so I thought it would be cool if we go live every show and I do a different song every show in this portion," theAmerican Idolwinner explained to the audience.
"We try to keep a part of the show fresh," she continued. "Every show we do a different song and every show I've done I've literally picked a completely different genre but that's because I just really love music."
That's when Clarkson took a sip of wine before leading her band into an impressive medley of Cardi's cautionary banger "Be Careful," Posty's crowd-pleasing jam "Better Now" and Hill's classic record "Ex-Factor," from her Grammy-winning album,The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. After finishing her set, the vocalist revealed she and her band "literally put this together this afternoon" — which is INSANE.
