Virginia Man Saves Dog From Hot Car By Breaking Window!

Jason Minon from Virginia saved a dog's life the other day, making him a national hero!

He was working a landscaping job and heard a crash. Jason went out and noticed that a car had just sideswiped a parked car. When he approached the parked car, he noticed the windows were up and there was a dog in the backseat, on the floor, clearly overheated. It was 80 degrees outside.

Jason called 911. They sent him to Animal Care and Control. 20 minutes later, they arrived.

The animal control officer was trying to jimmy the door open (following protocol) but it wasn't working. Jason lost his temper and used her baton to smash the window to free the dog.
