America’s Got Talent's live show portion of the competition aired on Tuesday night, and golden buzzer winner, Kodi Lee, brought the judges to tears.
Lee, who is blind and has autism was granted the "ok" to perform singer Paul Simon’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” something that Simon Cowell says is rare.
"I want to thank Paul Simon, who never really gives permission for anyone to sing ('Bridge Over Troubled Water') because it's very precious to him, and he gave (Lee) clearance within 30 minutes," Cowell said.
Judges, Gabrielle Union, and Julianne Hough were brought to tears by Lee’s performance. The judges are unable to vote on the live performances, the decision is up to Americans who can vote up to 10 times on NBC.com/AGT Vote or on the show’s app, the results will be announced during Wednesday’s results show.
