Deacon Dave's Light Display in Livermore was supposed to open over the weekend but a 50-year-old tree that Dave's parents planted all those years ago came down onto his house, taking down 35,000 of the 600,000 lights!
Volunteers rushed to Dave's aide to help with the cleanup and hauled the 2000 lb tree away.
After a little rain and a set-back Deacon Dave is looking forward to sharing the holiday cheer and having the community see the Christmas light display.
