Anna Faris And Her Family Have Huge Scare In Lake Tahoe!

Anna Faris and her family rented a house in Lake Tahoe for over Thanksgiving weekend and online, she shared that first responders saved her family from a carbon monoxide incident.

The North Tahoe Fire Protection District retweeted her message Tuesday and encouraged others to check their carbon monoxide detectors when they travel.

The CO level at Anna's vacation home housing 13 people was as high as 55 parts per million, and the home did not have CO alarms. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that the long-term exposure indoors should be limited to less than 15 ppm.

Carbon monoxide is an odorless, invisible gas that can suffocate victims by depriving the bloodstream of oxygen. Symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning include headache, dizziness, disorientation, nausea, loss of coordination and difficulty breathing.

At least 9 of the 13 people at the home went to the hospital. We are really glad everyone is okay.

Jack and Carolyn talked to Chief Mike Schwartz with the North Tahoe Fire Protection District! Listen to their conversation, here...
