A longtime East Bay Christmas tradition is back on track after taking a hit from Mother Nature.
The annual lighting of Deacon Dave’s Christmas light display in Livermore had to be canceled last month because of the fierce storm conditions.
Thousands of the displays lights were destroyed when a 1 ton tree fell during the storm. But thanks to the outpouring of fans and neighbors who jumped in to help clear the tree and put the lights back up, a couple of days later, Dave and his house were back in business!
