The Warriors Steph Curry surprised Alta Baltes nurse Shelby Delaney with a Facetime call to thank her for the work she's during during the coronavirus outbreak
Shelby and her fellow nurses working the evening shift at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center were all in the break room before the start of their shift when a Facetime call came into her phone. To her surprise, it was Steph!
Here's the backstory: Last week, on a day when Shelby was feeling extra exhausted, she posted a photo of herself on Facebook, pulling open her white medical coveralls to reveal a bright blue Warriors jersey underneath. She wrote a message encouraging her friends to donate bleach wipes and make face shields and even pitch in some fresh hot coffee for her fellow healthcare workers.
Steph Curry got a hold of the post and the rest is history!
