Concord police are looking for Max, an 11-week-old Malinois puppy snatched Saturday afternoon from the garage of his owner who happens to be an emergency room nurse helping to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
Max and his family live in Concord on Montgomery Avenue. The suspect that took him (on a bicycle) is described as an adult male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark ball cap, blue jeans, dark shoes and blue rubber gloves.
Concord police have posted a video of the theft online. They are asking anyone who sees Max, knows of his whereabouts or recognizes the thief to call 925-671-3333.
