Shannah Fein is a grocery store manager at the Lucky supermarket in Union City, right across the street from Alvarado Elementary School in Union City.
Shannah got her stumulus check like so many people in the Bay Area and wanted to do some "good" with the check. She contacted one of the employees at the school (Mary Small) and they teamed up and used Shannah's check to buy groceries and deliver them to the student's houses. Many of those students are struggling to afford food.
Shannah says she feels so fortunate to have a job and she wanted her check to go to a greater good.
