With the shelter in place still in effect, more and more jobs are becoming permanent work-from-home jobs. A lot of work from home employees are starting to wonder why the need to stay in the Bay Area and pay the sky high rents for small living spaces. Since geography isn’t much of a factor, why not move to Lake Tahoe?
That’s exactly what’s happening.
There’s been an uptick in interest in Tahoe real estate. People are looking for a simpler life in a smaller community. Shopping for real estate is different during the pandemic. At open houses you’re required to wear booties, masks and gloves inside the house.
