Family Gives Back To Nurses Who Tended To Their Dad That Passed From COVID.

A family is thanking nurses who were with their father when he died of COVID-19 and made sure his kidsn knew he wasn't alone when he passed.

The Johnson family gathered every single day outside Catholic Medical Center in New Hampshire, where their father had a room with a window. The family wasn't allowed to go in and see their dad as he declined, so they would set up camp outside his window every day and wave to the nurses and hospital staff that were caring for their dad.

This past Sunday, two nurses posted signs in their father's window: "He is at peace." "We are so sorry."

One of the siblings took a photo of the nurses--one with her hand on the window and the other making a heart with her hands.(See the photo below)

Although their dad passed, the family wanted to give back to the nurses at the hospital. So they have been standing outside their dad's window at the hospital every day since he passed, holding vigils in the park and waving at the hospital workers.

The Johnsons said they plan to keep their vigils going for other patients in the hospital.

Jack Kulp and Carolyn McArdle talked about it on the air. Listen below...
