Earlier this week, Marin County issued new guidelines making it possible for businesses to get back to business by providing storefront pick-up. The city of Novato is trying to make transactions as easy as possible for buyers and sellers.
On Tuesday the Downtown Novato Business Association announced that they’re going to re-designate 30 parking spaces along the Grant Avenue business district as “temporary carryout” spaces. The spaces will be numbered to make curbside pickup even easier. After a customer parks, they call the store or restaurant where they placed the order, and give their parking space number.
City crews are already making the changeover by painting new lines, and installing new signs. The DNBA emphasizes that there are still plenty of regular parking spaces still available.
