Paralyzed Dog Receives New Mobility Device Thanks To San Mateo Students!

Meet Harold. He is a paralyzed dog that was adopted about a year ago by Tanya Sheckley and her family after finding him on the side of the road.

Tanya is also the founder of the Up Academy here in the Bay Area and thanks to Tanya and the Up Academy and some really determined students at Mountain View High School, Harold is now able to move around even though he has lost the mobility in his two back legs.

It took them a year to design and build a fiberglass sleeve with skateboard wheels. They call it "the dinosaur."

Harold is now the ambassador of the classroom!

Not only have the students helped Harold but Harold has helped the students as well.

Jack Kulp and Carolyn McArdle talked about it on the air! Listen below...
