With so many people stuck at home due to shelter-in-place orders, there is such a high demand for clothing donations at St. Anthony's in the Tenderloin in San Francisco, they've had to implement a reservation system!
Around 60 appointment times are released every Monday and typically âsell outâ within two hours.
Those with an appointment slot can pull up to the organizationâs curbside drop-off area during their allotted time and deposit their items, though thereâs also now a maximum amount of bags of clothing that can be donated at one time.
St. Anthony's hopes to welcome back at least some volunteers in July, with a new screening process and of course, masks.
