May Lee is celebrating her 100 birthday. Not only that. She’s celebrating her 77th year of service to the state of California!
May is a financial analyst for the California Department of General Services. She’s worked for ten governors, and she still works as hard as she did in 1943. She just renewed her driver’s license, and still drives to work. She has no plans to retire, and her coworkers say she’s a dream to work with.
May’s office is filled with awards, and souvenirs from her travels to more than 150 countries. She thinks her traveling days are over though. She said “The walker doesn’t do very well in foreign countries with the nice cobblestones.
