“kids Are Parents” night is becoming more and more popular in the US. Kids make dinner, clean up the dishes, and send their parents to bed around 8:30. Sure, the kids will probably stay up past midnight. This all has to be age appropriate, because the young ones will be responsible for turning out the lights, and lock the doors.
