When actor Dennis Quaid heard through a news report that there was a cat up for adoption, he jumped at the chance. The cat caught Quaid’s attention because the cat was named Dennis Quaid!
Dennis the cat was put up for adoption at a Virginia animal shelter. Dennis the actor couldn’t resist, so he reached out to the Lynchburg Humane Society, and asked to adopt the cat. The people at the shelter didn’t believe him at first, but they eventually came around. Quaid co-hosts a podcast about pets called The Pet Show with Jimmy Jellinek. Jellinek plans to fly to Virginia soon to pick up Dennis the cat. Check out the video:
