Last week we talked about a firefighter who had his car invaded, while he was on duty fighting fires near Santa Cruz, and had his wallet stolen.
The man who stole the wallet was since apprehended. He admitted to the theft, and he wrote an apology to the firefighter. Brian Johnson was caught while using the stolen credit card in Santa Cruz, and according to sheriffs, a tip from a citizen lead to Johnson’s arrest.
The firefighter has received letters from all over the US, and lots of people have offered to pay back any of the money that was stolen. The bank has reversed any of the illegitimate charges to the firefighter.
