Jack and Kim took a quick one nighter to Mendocino last Friday. The next day they headed up Rt 1 to Fort Bragg to ride the Skunk Train rail bikes. Have you ever tried it? It’s about 45 minutes one way with time for a picnic lunch at the end of the run. Remember to pack sandwiches. After about an hour, you head back after the crew reverses the bikes, and you’re good to go! We’ll probably do it again. You can also enjoy the Pudding Creek Express.....a spectacular 7-mile roundtrip journey that leaves the depot in downtown Fort Bragg year-round, traveling along the beautiful Pudding Creek Estuary and passes into ancient redwoods to the calming setting of Glen Blair Junction.
