The Tahoe ski resorts will have new procedures for buying lift tickets this season.
Earlier this week, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows announced that there will be no walk-up window ticket sales due to the pandemic. It’s a way for the resorts to cut back on large crowds. Skiers will need to reserve them in advance online. Last month Heavenly, Northstar, and Kirkwood made similar announcement, but those three are taking the restriction even further. You need to make reservations in advance at those resorts even if you have a season pass. Online reservations for pass holders open on November 6th.
