You may hear Carolyn McArdle and Jack Kulp talk about Better Place Forests every weekday morning and wonder "What exactly is Better Place Forests?"
Better Place Forests mission statement is simple: "Our mission is to inspire everyone to leave a meaningful legacy for the planet and the people they love. We support families in their end of life arrangements while conserving and protecting natural areas. By choosing Better Place Forests, your legacy will inspire future generations."
Take Carolyn McArdle for example. She loves nature and loves the idea of her ashes being spread at the base of a tree in a protected forest, where the ashes grow into the tree and that tree is a place where her family can come visit, in a beautiful setting, for years to come. She also likes the idea that her pets ashes can be spread there as well. And it's about 1/2 the cost of a traditional burial.
Spencer sadly lost his wife Sheila and his family worked with Better Place Forests. Sheila's ashes were scattered at the base of a tree that Spencer and his children can visit whenever they wish. He said it's a great way to memorialize Sheila in a gorgeous setting. Sheila was a huge lover of the forest and Spencer's family found a perfect way to memorialize Sheila with Better Place Forests.
