The bad news: It looks like cruise ships won’t be allowed back in U.S. waters for another month. The good news: The Centers for Disease Control originally mandated the ships should be barred at least until February 2021.
The cruise ship industry is trying to slowly starts trips back up again, and is following the recommendations of a partnership between Norwegian Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean.
At least 3,689 cases of COVID-19 on cruise ships have been reported to the CDC since March.
