Snacks happen to be the theater’s favorite part too, because snack sales are a major part of their profits. So much so that theaters in San Francisco will stay closed because the city won’t allow them to sell food, despite the fact that the theaters have been given the green light to reopen. If the theaters aren’t allowed to sell at their concession stands, they’d be running with a huge loss of revenue.
