Price Harry was spotted wearing a mask created by a Bay Area Fashion designer.
Like so many other business owners during the pandemic, Oakland fashion designer Taylor Jay had to rethink her business plan. She had to temporarily close her boutique, but at the same time come up with an idea that would keep her in business. So, she applied her beautiful designs to something people need every day….face masks! Her design caught the eye of none other than Prince Harry, and he was photographed in Los Angeles recently wearing a mask created by Taylor Jay Collections.
Taylor Jay Collections is co-owned by Taylor and her daughter, Brenda, and is one of many Bay Area Black-owned and women-owned businesses that had to creatively come up with ways to stay solvent.
And they’re doing right by the community too, because for each mask the sell they donate a mask to an essential worker.
