Jack & Terri Cooley of Alameda found something fun to do during the COVID lockdown. They discovered the fun of bike riding in a BIG way.
They started riding their bikes months ago, and ended up riding every street in Alameda. The island of Alameda is 6.5 miles long, 1 mile wide, and holds a total of 634 streets. Their story even went national, appearing on “Live with Kelly & Ryan”. They’ve become so famous they’re selling t-shirts with the proceeds going toward Alameda Meals on Wheels. By the way, Jack has lived in Alameda for 72 years.
