Maki, the 21-year-old Lemur, was found safe and sound.
Maki was reported missing from the San Francisco Zoo early this past Wednesday. Authorities believe that the ring tailed lemur didnât escape, but was stolen because there were signs of forced entry into his pen at the zoo. But the good news is, Maki was spotted by five-year-old James Trinh in a school yard in Daly City late last night. Animal care and control, along with the Daly City PD, arrived at Hope Lutheran Day School to take Maki into custody, and return him to the zoo.
