There’s some good news from the Zogg Fire
An orphaned mountain lion cub was rescued by Cal Fire near Redding on September 30th. He was severely burned, and found limping along a burned out road. He was sent to the Oakland Zoo veterinary hospital, along with two of her sisters for treatment. He was named Captain Cal by the Cal Fire firefighters who found him, and he spent 47 days recovering from his injuries.
All three are healthy, and have been adopted by the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium!
