Those figurines used in the 1964 animated film “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” sold!
Last week, we told you that the models of Rudolph and Santa were going to be put up for auction. The seller, Peter Lutrario of New York thought the pair would fetch between $150,000 and $200,000 . He was sure surprised when the bidding went all the way up $368,000! Before the auction Peter said he would never sell them, but he wants to take care of his children and grandchildren with the money.
Oh, and Rudolph’s nose still lights up.
