Before Clooney settled into family life, he gathered his 14 closest friends at an undisclosed location, and gave them each a suitcase stuffed with one million in cash. This happened back in 2013, but the story just recently surfaced. Clooney’s thinking at the time was that he could have put them all in his will, but he wanted them to have the money while he’s still here.
