Twin Lakes Church in Aptos in the South Bay really came through for the Second Harvest Food Bank this year.
Their holiday food drive took in a record $428,949.09 in donations in just six weeks! This is the largest donation Second Harvest has ever received. The second largest, $319,000, came from Plantronics back in 2017.
Twin Lakes Church began taking part in the food drive in 2006, and pulled in $947.70 that year. The money that the church raised this year is enough to pay for more than 1.7 million meals.
