As COVID cases continue to climb in the Bay Area and California the DMV has instituted some changes we want you to know about. Starting today, The California DMV is temporarily suspending behind-the-wheel driving tests for at least two weeks.
DMV says it is obviously not safe for their employees to be in a car with a passenger. It's too risky and they hope with all of your DMV needs, you use the online option instead of coming into their offices. That being said, if you had an appointment for an in person driving test, the DMV will send you a notice with a new time and date for your test. Motorcycle tests are still taking place because those can be conducted from a safe distance.
